What the heck does it mean? RUNNING This is the normal status and indicates the last time that Robo contacted our ISP to pick up email. The typical process is to check for email every 10 minutes, when the main process is not running. The main process, the one that runs the games, wakes up every 30 minutes. It does not happen on the hour, or any specific minute, simply 30 minutes from when it last started. Depending on how many games need to be run, and if any are on a remote machine, the process can take from 2 minutes to 30 minutes. HOLIDAY For 3 weeks starting December the 20th, this mode is triggered. It ends at NOON on january 10th. While this mode is in effect the following is true: Robo subscriptions do not decrement, all games are free. Games with a special RUN flag will run as scheduled. All other games will wait for TRN files from players without strikes, who have submitted at least 1 TRN. Players with strikes against them, who miss another TRN, will not have the strike count against them. Hence they can not strike out. Karma is not reduced for missing TRN files. RCCL ranked games reliability points for missed TRNs are as per normal. I have no control over how the ladder allocates points for missed TRN files. PROBLEM This mode is triggered either manually or automatically. If there arises a situation where I am uncomfortable with the players ability to contact Robo and send in TRN files. Or I feel that there is confusion of a widespread nature, I will manually trigger this mode. It is also automatically triggered if the main process fails to run for over 12 hours. While this mode is set, Robo acts like he is in HOLIDAY mode, except games with the RUN option do not have special meaning.
