Previously Wraith wrote "At the very minimum I drop off 5 clans and 4
supplies from whatever ship is exploring. That way I can sell 3 supplies
to get the 3 MCs that it takes along with the 1 supply to build at least
1 factory." I must disagree. OK, drop off 5 clans if you wish but only 1
supply. Never take up valuable cargo space with supply that you intent
to convert to mc anyway. Load up with mcs to begin with thus allowing
you to be able to take along more clans. The less # of trips back to the
homeworld the better. You must stake your claims on worlds before anyone
else.

Also, always try to planet hop in order to hide your movement from
others. Don't allow potential enemies to plot your homeworld's existence
to early on in the game. Or for that matter the destination of your
freighters. He may get there 1st & ambush you.
